Macitent tablet is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It contains macitentan as its main active ingredient. It is an endothelin receptor antagonist.

This medicine widens these arteries, easing the heart's pumping effort, lowering blood pressure, relieving symptoms, and slowing disease progression.

Take this medication as directed by your doctor, ideally at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew it.
