Maxtra Gargle is is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for treating pain and inflammation (redness, swelling and a feeling of heat) in the throat or mouth. It contains benzydamine as its active ingredient that belongs to a class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It is meant for oral use only and must not be swallowed. Maxtra Gargle should not be used for children below 12 years of age without taking advice from a doctor. Use it with the dosing cup provided along with the package.
