How To Use Transparent Film Dressing

• Prepare the wound according to standard protocol.
• All cleansing solutions and skin protectants dry completely.
• Remove and discard the centre cut-out piece when using clarop dressing sizes in the original frame design.
• Expose the adhesive surface by peeling the printed liner from the dressing.
• View the site through the film and centre the dressing over the wound. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
• Gently remove the paper frame from the dressing while smoothing down the dressing edges.
• Then smooth down the entire dressing, from the centre out to the edges. Use firm pressure to enhance adhesion.
• Apply the label to the edge of the dressing or directly on the skin.
• Document dressing change information before removing the identification label from the frame.
