Medisalic ointment is used for the treatment of various skin conditions such as eczema, impetigo, dermatoses and psoriasis. It helps manage swelling, dry skin, scaly skin, and red and scaly patches. It contains a combination of clobetasol and salicylic acid.
Clobetasol is a topical steroid, and salicylic acid is an antiseptic and keratolytic. Medisalic ointment should only be used externally and not for other skin conditions without consulting your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade with time.
