It is important to take Met XL 25 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the correct dose and for the recommended duration. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as this can worsen your condition. If your doctor advises stopping it, the dose will usually be reduced gradually.
This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, tiredness, dizziness, or headache. These are usually mild and temporary.

Excess of Met XL 25 tablet may cause decreased heart rate, low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting and coma. If you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.
Take a dose as soon as you remember you have missed a dose. However, if you are close to the next dose, do not take the missed dose. Try to follow the Met XL 25 tablet dosage regimen regularly. Do not take extra doses of the medicine to make up for the missed one.
