Mecter Tablets is an anti-worm (antihelminthics) medicine. It is used for the treatment of infection caused by worms and expel worms from the body. Mecter Tablets is a combination of albendazole and ivermectin, with these two active ingredients.
It is used for the treatment of intestinal worm infection and suppression of worms that causes filariasis. The combination acts as a deworming agent by killing the worm and eliminating it from the body. Worm infection spread via contact of contaminated soil, food and feces of infected person.
Mecter Tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
Mecter Tablets should not be used during pregnancy; as there is lack of safety information during pregnancy.
Components of Mecter Tablets pass into breast milk. Caution is advised while breastfeeding.
If you experience dizziness, fits or visual disturbances after taking Mecter Tablets , it is advised to avoid driving.

If you missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed dose.
Mecter Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy because there is limited information available on its safety in pregnancy.
