Midora Tablet is used to treat orthostatic hypotension, a type of low blood pressure that occurs when a person stands up quickly from a sitting or lying position. It contains midodrine as its active ingredient. This medication works by balancing lower blood pressure in the blood vessels and increasing it by acting through the sympathetic nervous system.
Midora Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor, following the prescribed doses and duration. It can be taken with or without food. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and about all medications and supplements you take, as well as any conditions or diseases you have, before starting Midora Tablet.
Symptoms of an overdose may be a headache, goosebumps, feeling cold, frequent urination, difficulty in passing urine, palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain, blurred vision, low heart rate. If you have overdosed on the Midora Tablet then consult your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital.
If you have missed taking a dose of the Midora Tablet then take it immediately and if it's time for the next dose then take that dose at a regular time and skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
Midora Tablet acts on the blood vessels to correct the imbalances of blood distribution in the body and helps in increasing the blood pressure.
Midora Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as there is limited information about its safety in pregnant women.
