Modus Tablet is given to women who are unable to produce progesterone hormone naturally. It is also prescribed to patients suffering from various disorders related to the female reproductive cycle like disorders including irregular menstrual periods, absence of menses, delayed periods, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, etc. Modus Tablet is a hormonal medicine.
It contains medroxyprogesterone, a human made female hormone. This Tablet corrects the reduced hormonal levels of progesterone in the body and disorders associated with it.
Symptoms of overdose of Modus Tablet include nausea and vomiting, dizziness, breast tenderness, abdominal pain, fatigue, drowsiness and withdrawal bleeding. If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken an excessive dose of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you miss a dose of Modus Tablet, take it as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to compensate for the missed one.
Modus Tablet contains medroxyprogesterone which acts as a natural female sex hormone, crucial for maintaining a normal mensuration cycle. Females who are not able to produce progesterone naturally, suffer from various menstrual cycle-related disorders. Medroxyprogesterone helps in regularising menses and achieving hormonal balance.
Pregnant women should not use Modus Tablet as it can lead to abnormalities in the growing foetus.
Modus Tablet is not recommended for breastfeeding women as it passes into breast milk. Do not take the Modus Tablet at least till your baby is six weeks old.
Modus Tablet does not affect your driving abilities. Be careful if you experience any side effects which can interfere with your driving abilities.
