Montair-LC is an anti-allergic medication that contains a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine as active ingredients. It is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including a runny or stuffed nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. The medication works by blocking the release of chemicals responsible for producing allergy symptoms in the body.
It is recommended to take Montair-LC at bedtime to minimize the risk of dizziness. Individuals with kidney problems or those on dialysis should not take Montair-LC. Before starting treatment with Montair-LC, it is important to discuss all medications, supplements, and existing health conditions with your doctor.
Common side effects of this tablet include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. Montelukast and levocetirizine are active ingredients of Telekast L , Montina L , Odimont Lc , Montek LC tablet and Monticope tablets . If you missed any dose of medicine, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
