Montek FX tablet is an anti-allergic medicine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as runny & stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, blockage in airways and other allergic symptoms. It is a combination medicine containing montelukast and fexofenadine. Montek FX tablets work by blocking the production of chemicals responsible for allergy symptoms.

You need to follow all the instructions of your doctor while taking this medicine. A few other medicines containing montelukast and fexofenadine are Allegra M tablet , Telekast F tablet , Emlukast Fx tablet , Histafree M tablet , and Montair Fx tablet . Dizziness, cough, headache, nausea, and stomach pain are some of the common side effects of the Montek FX tablet.

• Other medicines such as Rifampicin, Phenobarbital, Gemfibrozil and Phenytoin should be used cautiously.
