Nucoxia P Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, headache, nerve pain, ear or throat pain, fever, cold, and flu. This medicine is a combination of two drugs: Etoricoxib and Paracetamol. Nucoxia P Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
The dose and duration depend on your medical condition and the severity of your pain. Do not take more than the recommended dose, and do not use it for longer than advised, as it may increase the risk of side effects. Your doctor may adjust the dose or dosing schedule according to your response to treatment.
Nucoxia P Tablet may cause some side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Common side effects include diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, flatulence, constipation, nausea, swelling of hands and feet, and dizziness. If you think you have taken too much of the Nucoxia P tablet, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. As this medicine contains paracetamol, taking too much of this can lead to liver problems.
If you have missed any dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Etoricoxib works by blocking the action of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX), which is responsible for producing chemical messengers called prostaglandins. These prostaglandins cause pain, swelling, and inflammation. By reducing their levels, Etoricoxib helps relieve pain and stiffness.
