Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

• Avoid taking Orgonist 120 with oral P-gp inhibitors, as it can increase the risk of side effects. If you must take both, take Orgonist 120 first, wait at least 6 hours before the P-gp inhibitor, and monitor for side effects.
• Orgonist 120 treatment can be paused for up to 2 weeks if needed for a short course of certain P-gp inhibitors. If Orgonist 120 is paused for more than 7 days, restart with a 360 mg dose on the first day, followed by 120 mg once daily.
• Avoid taking Orgonist 120 with drugs that are both P-gp and strong CYP3A inducers, as they can reduce effectiveness. If you must take both, you may need to increase the Orgonist 120 dose. After stopping the other drug, resume the regular Orgonist 120 dose once daily.
