Otoflour 20mg tablet is anti-cavity medicine that contains Sodium Flouride. Otoflour 20mg tablet is a cavity-prevention tablet (tooth decay). It works by reducing the effects of acid and germs on the teeth, strengthening them, and making them more resistant to decay.
It's also used in the mouth to treat and prevent hypersensitivity. A dental cavity, also known as caries, is a long-term tooth lesion that results in microscopic holes. Bacteria in the mouth, sugary beverages, frequent eating, and poor dental hygiene all contribute to the development of cavities.
Do not take more than the prescribed dose a day. Do not stop the medication on your own before consulting the physician. If you experience severe side effects, inform the doctor immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

Calcium, magnesium, and aluminium may interfere with sodium fluoride absorption. As a result, keeping an hour between sodium fluoride formulations and dairy products (milk, yoghurt), antacids, laxatives, and vitamins/minerals is recommended.
