Ovaa Shield Capsule & Tablet Combikit

Ovaa Shield capsule contains clomiphene, N-acetylcystiene and astaxanthin as its active component. It consist of ovulatory stimulants and antioxidants. Ovaa Shield capsule works by inducing ovulation (release of egg) in women with irregular menstural cycle and cannot conceive.

It may also prevent insulin sensitivity. It should not be used in children below 14 years of age, and also if you are pregnant. Take the prescribed dose for prescribed duration at the same time for optimal benefit.

Dosage

Overdose

Excess of Ovaa Shield capsule can result in nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea. If you have taken too much of this medicine then contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.

Missed a Dose

If you have missed to take any dose of Ovaa Shield capsule then take it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule.

How Does It Work?

• Astaxanthin is an antioxidant, which may protect the cell from being damaged.
• N-Acetylcystiene works as an antioxidant by increasing the production of body's natural antioxidant substane glutathione, which helps reduce inflammation and cell damage.
• Clomiphene acts by sending a signal to the brain centre to increase the release of hormones such as follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), responsible for ovulation.

Directions for Use

Ovaa Shield capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

Pregnancy

Driving

You may experience blurr vision, dizziness while on Ovaa Shield capsule, thus avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Ovaa Shield capsule?

Alcohol should not be consumed with Ovaa Shield capsule, as it may worsen the side effect such as dizziness, drowsiness and also alter the effect of the medicine. Also, it decreases the chance of conceiving. Talk to your doctor if you consume it often.

Contraindications

Interactions with other medicines

• Ovaa Shield capsule with cough-relieving medicine such as dextrometrorphan, diphenyhydramine may increase the build-up of the secretions in the body, hence should be used carefully.
• Activated charcoal may decrease the effectiveness of Ovaa Shield capsule
• The effect of antibiotics such as penicillins, tetracycline is reduced with Ovaa Shield capsule, hence a gap of minimum 2 hours should be kept.
• Ovaa Shield capsule increases the widening effect of blood vessels along with glyceryl trinitrate, thus should be monitored closely.
• Ovaa Shield capsule might alter the laboratory reports such as for ketone in urine.
• Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparation and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible interactions.
