Before starting Pregeb Capsule, please inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Share your complete medical history with them. You can take Pregeb Capsule with or without food, but it’s best to take it at the same time each day for optimal effectiveness.
Your doctor may begin you on a low dose and gradually increase it based on your condition and response to the medication. It might take several weeks for the full effects to become evident. It is essential to follow your doctor’s instructions and take the medication regularly until advised otherwise.
Do not skip doses, as this may worsen your condition. Side effects are generally mild and resolve on their own. They may include sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, swelling, and difficulties with concentration.
Most side effects do not require medical attention, but you should discuss any potential side effects with your doctor. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase feelings of sleepiness and dizziness.
Symptoms of an overdose are similar to common side effects like sleepiness, restlessness, irritation, etc. If you think you have taken too much of the Pregeb Capsule contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. In rare cases of an overdose of this medicine, it can lead to coma.
Do not take a double dose of the Pregeb Capsule, if you have missed a dose, take the next dose as soon as you remember. If it is already time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your normal dosing schedule.
Pregabalin in the Pregeb Capsule works by reducing the release of a chemical (neurotransmitter) in the brain responsible for the sensation of pain.
Pregeb Capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or without food.
