Radic tablet is a prescription medicine that contains a combination of two medicines, dicyclomine, and ranitidine. This medicine is used to treat ulcers in the stomach, heartburn and irritable bowel syndrome.
If you take more medicine than prescribed, contact your doctor immediately.
Take the missed dose when you remember. But if it is almost time for another dose, do not take it. Avoid taking extra tablets to compensate.
The dicyclomine component of the medicine acts by reducing spasms of the gastrointestinal tract by blocking a chemical in the body responsible for contractions of muscles. Ranitidine acts by stopping secretion of acid in the stomach and helps relieve heartburn.
Unless a clear need is identified, Radic tablet should not be given to pregnant women.
Since dicyclomine gets secreted in the breast milk and may enter the child's body, it is not advised for use in nursing mothers.
You can drive but avoid doing so if you experience dizziness or vision trouble due to this tablet.
Consult the doctor about the safety of consuming alcohol while taking Radic.
