• Concomitant use of acid-lowering medicine such as aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, cimetidine, famotidine, ranitidine, omeprazole, pantoprazole decreases the effect of Sovihep V.
• Sovihep V Tablet increases the effect of the medicine used to treat irregular heartbeat such as amiodarone, digoxin when coadministered.
• Sovihep V Tablet increases the effect of medications used as a blood thinner, such as dabigatran, warfarin when co-administered.
• Medicine used to treat fits such as oxcarbazepine, phenytoin decreases the effect of Sovihep V Tablet when co-administered.
• Concomitant use of Sovihep V Tablet increases the effect of antiviral medicine such as tenofovir.
• Use of other antiviral medicine such as Lopinavir, efavirenz, rilpivirine, atazanavir, darunavir, raltegravir, cobicistat may increase or decrease the effect of Sovihep V Tablet when coadministered.
• When Sovihep V Tablet is used concomitantly with herbal supplements like St. John's wort, the desired effect is decreased.
• Medicine used to lower cholesterol level such as atorvastatin, pravastatin, rosuvastatin effect is increased when Sovihep V Tablet is co-administered.
• Immunosuppressive medicine such as ciclosporin, tacrolimus effect may be increased or decreased when Sovihep V Tablet is co-administered.
• Discuss with your doctor about any other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking currently to avoid interactions.
