Spid Kid Expectorant is a cough remedy that contains a combination of ambroxol, guaifenesin, and levosalbutamol. It is used to treat productive coughs associated with spasms or constrictions of the airways in conditions such as bronchitis and bronchial asthma. Spid Kid is also used for all conditions linked with thick mucus, wheezing, and chest congestion.
It works by relaxing the airway muscles and thinning the mucus, making it easier to expel. This medicine is intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age. For children, it should be administered under adult supervision.
Spid Kid Expectorant can be taken with or without food as your doctor prescribes. Your dosage will depend on your condition and response to the medication. Continue taking it as recommended; stopping early may cause symptoms to return or worsen.
Inform your healthcare team of all other medications, as some may interact with this medicine. The most common side effects include dizziness, vomiting, alterations in taste, diarrhoea, headaches, and rashes. Most of these are temporary and typically resolve over time.
