Strafos Cream contains amorolfine, an antifungal medicine used to treat a variety of fungal infections that affect the skin and nails. Strafos Cream works by acting on the cell membrane of the fungus and alters its structure resulting in the destruction of the cell wall and the death of the fungus. You should not use this cream if you are allergic to Amorolfine.
If you find any side effects such as Burning, itching sensation at the site of application or side effects bother you or there is no improvement in your condition, then inform your doctor.
If you have missed applying Strafos Cream, apply it as soon as possible. Do not over-apply this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
Amorolfine present in Strafos Cream acts on the cell membrane of the fungus and alters its structure resulting in the destruction of the cell wall and the death of the fungus.
Strafos Cream should not be used in pregnancy unless clearly necessary. This cream is to be applied on topical surfaces and the quantities which might get absorbed from the skin is too little and there are rare chances of absorption. Still, this medicine should be used under medical supervision by a pregnant woman.
Limited information is available on the use of Strafos Cream in breastfeeding. It should not be applied to the breast of breastfeeding mothers or elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a prolonged period of time.
Strafos Cream is not known to affect the driving ability of the person using the cream.
Strafos Cream has no known interactions with alcohol. But alcohol may adversely affect the body's response to injury and delay or interfere with the healing process.

Since Strafos Cream is to be used externally on the skin it is less likely to interact with other medicines. However, you should always consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions.
The duration of treatment varies according to the type of infection and response to the treatment. Complete the duration prescribed by your doctor and do not stop on your own. Stopping the application of Strafos Cream abruptly before the prescribed duration may lead to treatment failure and recurrence of the infection.
