Tazloc H Tablet

Tazloc-H tablet contains a combination of Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, an anti-hypertensive as its active ingredient. Tazloc-H tablet is used to treat high blood pressure when it cannot be managed using a single medicine. This medicine lowers the raised blood pressure.

Tazloc-H tablet acts by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing diuresis, which works synergistically to lower the raised blood pressure. Pregnant women should not take this medicine. You should not take any potassium supplements during the treatment because it may increase the blood potassium level.

Do not stop taking Tazloc-H tablet abruptly, as it may cause sudden hypertensive crises and worsen the health further. Overdose

Missed a Dose

It would be best if you never miss a dose of your blood pressure medicine as it may lead to serious high blood pressure-related problems. However, if you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

• You have diabetes as Tazloc H 40 mg tablet may affect your blood glucose levels, glucose monitoring is needed.
• You develop eye pain and a decrease in vision.

Contraindications

• If you are allergic to telmisartan or hydrochlorothiazide or any of the ingredients of Tazloc-H tablets.
• If you are allergic to antibiotics like sulfasalazine and other drugs from this class.
• If you are pregnant.
• If you have serious liver disorders and problems related to the bile duct (a canal connecting the liver to the intestine) like cholestasis.
• If you have liver or kidney problems.
• If your blood test shows a significant increase in calcium and decrease in potassium levels.
• If you have diabetes or a kidney problem and you are taking medicine for lowering the blood pressure like aliskiren.
