Tendia M Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Teneligliptin and Metformin. It is an anti-diabetic medicine. This medicine is used to lower the high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with lifestyle changes.

This medicine works best when used along with a healthy diet and regular exercise. This medicine will help you keep your sugar levels in control and reduce the risk of diabetes complications. Zita Met Plus 20/500 tablets , Dynaglipt M tablets , Ziten M 20/500mg tablets and Teniva M tablets are a few other examples of a combination of Teneligliptin and Metformin.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose of Tendia M Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

• Medicines like verapamil (used to treat blood pressure and other heart problems), rifampicin (antibiotic), and Olaparib (used in cancer treatment), when used concomitantly, may reduce the effects of this medicine.
• Medicines used to treat inflammation associated with asthma and arthritis (corticosteroids), like betamethasone and prednisone, should be cautiously used along with this medicine.
• Medicines like cimetidine, dolutegravir, and ranolazine may change the amount of metformin in your blood when taken concomitantly.
• Simultaneous use along with medicines used to treat high blood pressure, like enalapril, captopril, candesartan, and losartan, may increase the risk of lactic acidosis (symptoms of stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhoea).

Decreased absorption of vitamin B12 may result in Vitamin B12 deficiency, further resulting in anaemia and nerve problems. Decreased levels of vitamin B12 may cause tingling sensation and numbness in hands and feet, weakness, urinary problems and difficulty in maintaining balance (ataxia).
