Tramacet Tablet is mainly used for pain relief and fever. The active ingredients of Tramacet Tablets are paracetamol and tramadol. Tramacet Tablets can also be taken for a variety of other conditions such as body ache, toothache, migraine, fever, muscle ache, lower back pain, etc.
The pain caused due to an injury, tissue damage, or disease can give an unpleasant feeling. This pain is caused due to formation of certain chemicals in the body as a response to the causative agent. Tramacet Tablets work by blocking these chemicals responsible for pain, migraine, and fever.
The duration and dosage of this medicine will depend on the condition and severity of the problem. It is not advised to take more than four Tramacet Tablets daily. Even if there is no relief in fever or pain, further use of this medicine should be avoided.
A minimum of 6 hours gap should be maintained between each dose. Tramacet Tablet is not meant for children under 12 years of age. Common side effects of Tramacet Tablets include nausea, allergic reactions, and dizziness.
Avoid taking Tramacet Tablets too often or for prolonged duration without proper medical advice. Directions of use of Tramacet Tablets should be strictly followed.
Tramacet Tablets can be used during pregnancy; however, this medicine should be used at its lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time and the lowest possible frequency because doses above the prescribed dose can be harmful to you and the unborn.
Tramacet Tablets are not recommended for nursing mothers. This is because it is a combination medicine of two active ingredients, including tramadol. Tramadol may pass in breast milk and cause respiratory depression in the infant.
Tramacet Tablets may cause drowsiness or dizziness, further enhanced by alcohol or other central nervous systems (CNS) depressants. This medicine can impair cognitive function and affect a person's ability to drive safely; hence, it should be avoided before operating heavy machinery or driving.
Moderate consumption of alcohol while taking Tramacet Tablets is usually safe. However, there is a risk of liver damage among alcoholics and people with liver problems.

Symptoms of an overdose of Tramacet Tablets include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and stomachache, as well as major consciousness disorders, including coma, respiratory depression, and convulsions. If you suspect an Tramacet Tablet overdose, reach out to the nearest hospital or call your doctor immediately.
If you missed a dose of Tramacet Tablet, then take it as soon as you can. Keep a gap of at least 6 hours between the two doses. If it is time for the next dose, disregard the missed one and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
