Cofar A Syrup 60ml is indicated for the treatment of cough accompanied by mucus. Its mechanism involves loosening and thinning mucus in the nasal passages, throat, and lungs, facilitating its expulsion through coughing. Additionally, it aids in relaxing and widening airway muscles, thereby improving respiratory ease.
This medication can be administered independently of food, strictly adhering to the dosage and duration specified by a healthcare professional. The prescribed dosage is determined by the patient's medical condition and response to treatment. Adherence to the full course of treatment is advised, as premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence or exacerbation.
Potential side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, headache, skin rash, palpitations, tremors, and an elevated heart rate. These effects are typically mild and transient. Should any side effect persist or become problematic, medical consultation is recommended.

Cofar A Syrup 60ml is generally not recommended during pregnancy. Hence, it is recommended to avoid this medicine during pregnancy and use this only if it is prescribed by the doctor.
Cofar A Syrup 60ml is secreted into the breastmilk and may cause unwanted effects in the newborn baby. Hence, it is recommended to avoid this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
It has no effect on driving ability. However, if you experience any side effects, be cautious while driving or operating machinery.
