Uterelax Tablet is used to prevent or stop premature labour (when the uterus starts contracting for birth too early than usual) that occurs after the 20th week of pregnancy. It contains ritodrine as its active ingredient that acts as a uterine relaxant. It works by reducing the contractions of the muscles in your uterus.
Take Uterelax Tablet exactly as told by the doctor. The doctor will decide the dose of the treatment based on your condition. Your doctor might advise you to take this medicine until your delivery or till the 37th week of your pregnancy.
Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
If you have taken too much of Uterelax Tablet and experience any unusual symptoms, immediately contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. Also, carry the package of the tablet along with you for easy assessment of the severity of an overdose.
