Venex Tablet contains diosmin and is used in adults to improve vein circulation in conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency, swollen or painful legs, a heavy or restless leg feeling, and acute haemorrhoidal attacks. It works by reducing vein inflammation, strengthening small blood vessels, lowering capillary leakage, and improving vein tone. Do not use it if you are allergic to diosmin or have lactose intolerance.
Possible side effects include nausea, indigestion, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, or skin rashes. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor and swallow the tablet whole with water without chewing or crushing. This medicine may interact with several other drugs, so inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking.
Store it away from heat, sunlight, and moisture, keep it out of children’s reach, do not exceed the prescribed dose, and if a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose.
Do not take the extra dose of this medicine than the prescribed dose. If you take it accidentally, please visit your doctor. There in no known case of overdose.
As soon as you remember about the missed dose, please take it. If it is the time to take your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.
Venex Tablet works in two ways. First, it helps in reducing the inflammation of veins and resuming normal vein function. Second, the it acts by reducing the capillary permeability and thus increasing the small blood vessel resistance. It also improves tone of the veins.
The dosage of Venex Tablet is decided by your doctor based on your health. Do not do any modification to the dosage without consulting a doctor. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew it. Do not cut, crush or break the medicine.

It is not known whether this medicine get excreted into milk or not. Due to absence of any proof, it is not recommended in breastfeeding women.
