Xyzal M Suspension is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used for the management of symptoms such as a runny and stuffy nose (allergic rhinitis), airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic reactions.Xyzal M Suspension contains montelukast and levocetirizine as active ingredients.

It works by reducing airway constriction and swelling while blocking the production of chemicals responsible for allergy symptoms.It is recommended to take this medicine preferably at bedtime, as it may cause dizziness. Shake the bottle well before use.

Take it in the exact dose and for the prescribed duration. Before using Xyzal M Suspension, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and provide your complete medical history. According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age.

• You are taking medicines for allergies (corticosteroids) like Prednisone and Prednisolone.

• This medicine can cause anxiety, aggression, lack of sleep and suicidal thoughts. In case you experience any of these, immediately inform your doctor.
• You are suffering from a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria.
• You are not able to empty the bladder.
• This medicine is not meant for relief from acute asthma. Use your inhaler for asthma relief in an acute attack.

Contraindications

• If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine, or montelukast, or any other ingredient of Xyzal M Suspension.
• If you have kidney problems or undergoing dialysis.
• If you are unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).
