Zoryl-M 1 tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. It is used to lower the raised blood glucose levels in the blood when it is not being controlled by diet and exercise. It treats Type 2 diabetes.
It contains glimepiride and metformin as their active ingredients. Take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor, after meals. Zoryl-M 1 tablet must not be used in children below 18 years of age.
Do not stop taking the medicine on your own. As, it may result in increased blood sugar level and complications.
Zoryl-M 1 tablet must be taken as directed by the doctor. Swallow as a whole with a glass of water. Take at a fixed time for optimal results. Avoid consuming more than prescribed by the doctor.
Avoid during pregnancy as it is harmful to the unborn baby. Inform the doctor if you are planning a pregnancy, he might suggest other alternatives.
Zoryl-M 1 tablet passes into the breast milk in small quantities which might not be harmful to the baby. If you are taking the medicine while breastfeeding, monitor the child for signs of hypoglycemia like excessive sleepiness, poor feeding, fits, difficulty in breathing or decreased body temperature.

No, you must never stop taking Zoryl-M 1 tablet without consulting the doctor. It results in a sudden rise in blood glucose levels and causes further harm to the kidney and other organs.
Zoryl-M 1 tablet is used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) when blood sugar levels are not controlled by Glimepiride or Metformin along with controlled diet and exercise alone.
Sometimes it may increase the risk of drop in blood sugar level as a side effect. So try to take your meals on time while taking Zoryl M Tablet. However, if you experience any symptoms related to hypoglycaemia such as drowsiness, unconsciousness, confusion etc, immediately drink the juice or eat the chocolate bar. Note that artificial sweeteners are not of any use in such scenarios. Always keep a juice or a bar of chocolate in the car close to you while driving or if you have frequent episodes of hypoglycaemia.
