Olyster Tablet is antihypertensive medicine. It is used to treat high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Olyster conatins terazosin as active ingredient.
It works by loering the blood pressure and relaxing the blood pressure as well as muscles around prostate and bladder. Take Olyster as advised by yuor doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own.
Olyster Tablet should be taken during pregnancy only if considered essential by the doctor as limited safety data is available in pregnant women. If you get pregnant while on treatment, contact your doctor immediately.
You should not breastfeed your baby while on Olyster Tablet.
Olyster may blur your vision and make you dizzy and sleepy, you should avoid driving if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert.
You should avoid consuming alcohol while taking Olyster Tablet, as it may worsen the side effects of this medicine. Talk to your doctor if you consume it often.

Terazosin acts by relaxing the blood vessels and thus lowers the raised blood pressure. It also eases the urination by relaxing the bladder and prostrate muscles.
No, do not stop taking Olyster suddenly, as it could worsen your condition of hypertension. Instead, you should consult your doctor and he/she may adjust your dose as per your needs.
