Fucidin H cream is a combination medicine containing Fusidic acid which is an antibiotic and Hydrocortisone which is a steroid. It is used for the treatment of skin disease associated with swelling, redness, itchiness and dryness of the skin. It also treats bacterial infection of the skin caused due to this skin disease.
It works by decreasing the formation and action of chemicals responsible for swelling, itching and redness of the skin. It also works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Burning, itching or irritation at the site of the application is a side effect of using this medicine.
If you have missed applying Fucidin H cream, apply it as soon as possible. Do not over-apply this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
