Cholesterol is a precursor of lipids/ fats in your body. This is an integral part of your cell membrane. However, a high proportion of LDL cholesterol ( which transports cholesterol to tissues) can lead to plaques and atherosclerosis, and narrowing of the blood vessels, resulting in limitation of blood flow and eventually coronary heart disease. Tonact Plus Tablet contains Atorvastatin which slows down the buildup of cholesterol in the body. When the cholesterol is less, subsequent atherosclerosis reduces. Overall this decreases the probability of getting a heart attack and also delays heart and blood vessel-related problems.
